Alhambra
"The Alhambra (Arabic: الْحَمْرَاء, Al-Ħamrā, literally "the red one"), the complete form of which was Calat Alhambra (الْقَلْعَةُ ٱلْحَمْرَاءُ, Al-Qal'at al-Ħamrā, "the red fortress"), is a palace and fortress complex of the Moorish rulers of Granada in southern Spain (known as Al-Andalus when the fortress was constructed during the mid 14th century), occupying a hilly terrace on the southeastern border of the city of Granada."

If you are ever in Spain, the Alhambra is a must-see. It is filled with such beautiful details, ornate buildings, gorgeous fountains; incredibly pleasing to look at and walk through. It took us about two hours to wander through the whole complex; Guy was a bit sad after the batteries on his camera expired...and we had left the refills in the car outside the complex! At least we had one working camera, and an amazing experience.
I love all the colors and patterns they use, they are still so modern after all these years
The wood detailing on the ceilings is so beautiful

Wow, gorgeous, right? It would have been a nice place to live, that's for sure...!
